FILMS UNDER REVIEW

THE HORROR SHOW IS BACK!

HMS has been undergoing some construction recently with section revamps and design maintenance. We're currently working on the Lunatic’s Serenade feature and The Torture Tunes section, and I hate to say this but our movie review section has been slumping ever since the loss of Jeremy Kelly. He was our movie critic until very recently, when he stepped down for personal reasons.

So we’ve had this lull happen, preventing us from delivering all the goods about the latest in horror movies - both new to DVD and in the movie theatres. But I can now proudly say that we are back and better than ever thanks to our newly appointed Associate Editor Stevie Kopas, who, in turn, has brought us Spencer Collins. Both writers will be working feverishly to bring you strong opinions about what works best and what doesn’t work best in the horror industry.

So without further ado, we're proud to present the first of our new and improved features: The Horror Show! We’ve got five exciting new movie reviews for this round and to start us off right, Spencer Collins tackles VHS 2. I will admit to not liking the first film but Spencer assures us the sequel is vastly superior to the original, so that is good news to hear! Stevie Kopas has gladly shared her perspective on three thought provoking films that she has reviewed. I am sure you will be happy to hear her thoughts too.

So I want to welcome everyone aboard and hope you all enjoy the opinions, good or bad, that our movie critics have graciously decided to share with all our HMS readers. I don’t think you will be disappointed by any of these films that we have picked to review this time around.
