About the artist(s):
Writer and Artist Jim Somerville created his own Walking Dead series long before Robert Kirkman created his series that would go on to become an entertainment juggernaut. This series was published by Aircel Comics in 1989 and consisted of four issues and a follow-up special. The origin of the zombie plague in this series is extra-terrestrial and the zombies in this series are more like the ones you would see in The Return of the Living Dead than the traditional mindless shamblers. – The Internet Archive
