Episode Sixty-Five: With the passing of Ozzy Osbourne, we decided to pivot from our planned Bonded By Blood review, to talk about the amazing career of Ozzy. He passed away on July 22nd at the age of 76 and everyone around the globe was shocked to hear of his death. News travelled fast, as major news outlets, websites and social media channels began pouring in thousands of heartfelt goodbyes to the Prince of Darkness.
The episode begins with a dissection of Ozzy's time in Black Sabbath. The guys open up about their love of the band and provide key insight on the highs and lows of the band and how that impacted Ozzy as a vocalist. Next, the guys turn their attention to Ozzy's solo career and begin to dissect his incredible discography of studio albums. Like the first segment for Black Sabbath, we get to hear everyone's thoughts on what studio they loved from Ozzy during the 80's and 90's and even into the 2000's.
Lastly, the final segment gives the guys a chance to reveal their five top Black Sabbath songs alongside their five top Ozzy solo songs. This segment revealed how truly wonderful Ozzy was as a performer, so stay till the very end to hear their ranking of songs.
