Show Notes:
Episode Seventy-Five: This week we head on over to the UK to discuss a modern thrash record that rages hard and fast. I'm talking about Evile and their debut masterpiece released on Earache Records. Enter the Grave came out August 27th 2007 and it was well received due to its balls-out no-nonsense thrash approach. Produced by Flemming Rasmussen who also produced the classic Metallica sound was brought to help shape this record.
Led by the bombastic brothers of Matt Drake and Ol Drake, the pair really know how to lay the thrash in spades. The diverse lyrics exploit topics like Rambo, Jaws, Witch burnings and roman gladiators fighting to the death. There's enough raw energy and feel to propel the songs and it was well received well by the critics.
Fun Facts: The band contacted Flemming for shitz and giggles feeling he wouldn't want to produce their album, but to their surprise he wrote them and was interested in producing the record.
