Show Notes:

Episode Fifty-Three: We go back to the Bay area to discuss the sophomore release from Forbidden. Twisted Into Form was released March 30th, 1990 on Combat Reords and featured a line-up change with new guitarist Tim Calvert replacing the outgoing Glenn Alvelais.

Twisted Into Form featured a big change with the album becoming more melodic and progressive. The sound was refined into a technically driven masterpiece of thrash metal that really featured the brilliant playing of Tim Calvert. There were many accoustic interludes and a much cleaner prooduction overall. With the help of the members of Death Angel on some backing vocal tracks, frontman Russ Anderson continued to be a real force on the mic. His vocals shined on such tracks like "Infinite", "Step By Step", "R.I.P." and "Out Of Body Out of Mind".

Fun Facts: The album cover art was once again done by the Great Kent Mathieu who also did the 1st cover for Fobidden Evil and also 2010's Omega Wave.
