Welcome to a new era in podcasting.

Thrashcast is the place to find riveting discussions on classic thrash albums, news and reviews. Your hosts are three thrash loving maniacs who grew up during the golden age of the genre. Kenneth, Billy and Jim will get together weekly to bring you a deep dive on some of your favourite thrash records.

Show Notes:

Episode Seventy Nine: This week filling in for Billy we are joined by Jason Deaville of Allfather Metal to talk about the new Kreator album. The conversation was very spirited due to the mix of opinions on the album's style and musical direction. Krushers of the World is the 16th studio album from Kreator and was released January 16, 2026 on Nuclear Blast Records.

Much of the conversation was dominated on the merit of Kreator's modern thrash approach that sees less thrashing and more melo-death leanings. Jason argued how the band is lacking with the raw and aggressive aesthetic found on the classic releases of the 80's. Both Jim and Ken enjoy the modern music from the band and advocated on their behalf. The results are pure hilarity during the two hour conversation.

Fun Facts: Krushers of the World is the first album from the band to include death metal vocals from singer Britta Cripper.
