Show Notes:
Episode Fifty-Six: For this episode, we decided to tackle a modern thrash album and one that is new for 2025. We figured it was time to discuss a band that is red hot these days, so Warbringer deserved to be discussed. The band are part of the new wave of American thrash; releasing album number seven on Naplam Records.
Wrath and Ruin is a solid release for a band that has been around since 2004. There are eight tracks of molten thrash; mostly brimming with brutal riffs and intense tempos. The album is diverse with elements of black metal, death and classic metal finding it's way through on some of the tracks. Vocalist John Kevill continues to carve out an impressive performance behind the mic, while his bandmates provide some rip roaring thrash metal.
Fun Facts: The album cover art was once again done by Andreas Marschall who has been the band's cover artist on the last three releases. Andreas has worked on classic albums for Kreator, Sodom, In Flames and Blind Guardian; just to name a few of the many bands he's worked with over the years.
